In the short 18 years of my life, if there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that things hurt.

Falling and scraping your knees hurts. Getting burned by oil when you’re frying something frozen (you know, when the oil gets all crazy and starts splattering everywhere) hurts. Getting heartbroken hurts. A lot of things in life hurts.

Above all though, I’ve realized that wondering “what if” is profoundly worse than any pain caused by finding out “what if”.  Finding out “what if” is what makes life worth living.

“What if I started going to the gym every other day?”

“What if I told her how I feel about her?”

“What if I started a blog?”

Whether it’s pursuing a romantic relationship, launching a business you’re passionate about, or moving somewhere far, far away, finding out “what if” is almost always worth it.

Finding out “what if” makes us take risks. Taking risks makes us grow. We never really lose; we either win or grow as a person. Even if it doesn’t work out, at least you know it wouldn’t!

In the unforgiving grips of life- in the midst of experiencing the consequences of finding out “what if”, we often regret ever being curious. Curiosity killed cat right?

But I’d rather die living a life without regrets than continuing to live a life in which I question if things could’ve been better if I simply did one thing…

Find out “what if”.

It’s better to have loved that to never have loved at all. It’s better to try something and fail than to never try something and succeed.

Think about it. Imagine all the possibilities.

Pursuing that business idea could’ve made you the next Mark Zuckerberg. You might’ve ended up marrying that cute guy or girl at Starbucks if you sparked up a conversation.

Who knows? Not you.

But you can find out.

Don’t let fear stop you from living life to the fullest and finding out “what if”.

Peace, Love, and Prosperity,
